1. General approach
I want every client to feel the work was worth it. If something isn't right, email hello@hamzamajeed.me and I'll work with you to fix it before anything else.
Refunds are handled based on how much work has been completed, as set out below. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law in your country, including the Australian Consumer Law.
2. SEO audits
If you cancel before I begin the audit, you receive a full refund.
Once the audit has started, fees are non-refundable because the work is custom and time-based. If the delivered audit does not match the agreed scope, I will complete the missing items at no extra cost.
3. One-time projects
Includes On-Page SEO, Technical SEO Fix Package, Schema Markup Setup, Platform SEO Setup, and Site Migration SEO.
Cancel before work starts: full refund of any deposit. Cancel after work starts: you pay for work completed to date, and any unused balance of prepaid fees is refunded.
4. Monthly retainers and programs
Includes Starter, Growth, and Authority retainers, Local SEO, Link Building, and the GEO/AEO Program.
Retainers have a three-month minimum term. After that, you can cancel with notice before your next billing date, and no further charges will be made.
Months already billed and started are non-refundable. If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining minimum-term fees are due unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. WordPress website builds
Builds are typically billed [50%] upfront and [50%] before launch.
If you cancel before design work begins, the deposit is refunded minus any third-party costs already paid on your behalf. After design work begins, the deposit is non-refundable, and work completed beyond the deposit is billed at the agreed rate.
6. WordPress maintenance
Maintenance plans are billed monthly and can be canceled before the next billing date. The current month is non-refundable once started.
7. Third-party costs
Costs paid to third parties for your project, such as premium plugins, themes, hosting, or tools, are non-refundable once purchased.
8. How to request a refund
Email hello@hamzamajeed.me with your name, the service, and the reason. I respond within [5] business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [10] business days.
